My mate Andy enjoying Service Without A Smile from possibly the grumpiest bastard in Belgium last weekend. Such larks, Mr Pip, such larks.

We looked around his shop while waiting to be served. It’s completely astonishing for those of us who’ve grown up in the UK  to see that alcohol is freely for sale at services on most of Europe’s motorways.
