Video shoot outside Apple Store in London’s Regent Street [click to zoom].
A guerilla promo shoot taking place in front of the Apple Store. You could tell they were shooting a music video rather than publicity stills because the two photographers were holding their cameras still instead of moving around framing different shots. And because the performer was moving around instead of holding different poses.
Although we couldn’t hear a thing above the road of the traffic you copuld tell this was a rap video because the performer had his hood up – in any case he was making the standard-issue hand gestures required of hiphop artists. It’s interesting – if unsurprising – that most music videos seem to be shot on SLR-style still cameras – you get HD quality and great lenses at a fraction of the bulk and cost of a dedicated high end video camera.
In background: new Routemaster bus, Armani Exchange shop and faux Greek urn in top RH corner of pic.
